Give Your Gayest Look
Actor Ryan Phillippe (out promoting the film Stop Loss) was on the Jay Leno show last week. It was mentioned that the actor played the first out of the closet homosexual character on daytime television earlier in his career. Leno then asked him to give his “gayest look”.
Playwright Jeff Whitty (of Avenue Q fame) has his gayest look posted for Leno:
This has turned into a meme at Shakesville. If you’d like to get a photo of yourself flipping the bird out on the internet, drop a link in her comment section. My favorite pic posted over there (other than the anonymous writers who hide their identity via gas masks and the like) is Armistead Maupin’s photo where he is standing in front of a billboard that says “closets from $29″.

Heh. This isn’t the first time Jeff Whitty’s flipped Leno the bird. But may I be excused for being too bored with Leno to really feel anger?

Leno’s on his way out the door pretty soon anyhow. I liked Jeff Whitty’s visual response since his written response last time obviously didn’t sink in. Every liberal blogger/writer should probably have a photo of themselves flipping the camera off on hand. It could get a lot of use.
