Win a Free Pack of Gum and Stop Uwe Boll
I have somewhat questionable taste in movies (you can search our Friday Night Fluff archives for proof) but even I think that Uwe Boll, director of the video game inspired and talent depleted films BloodRayne and Alone in the Dark, should be stopped. Uwe Boll is fairly widely hated in the horror/sci-film communities and he is aware of this. He told FearNet that if 1 million people sign a petition asking him to stop making movies, he will do so. The petition has about 250,000 signatures so far.
Stride Gum has announced that if the petition has 1 million signatures by 5 pm ET on May 14th, they will email every person that signed a coupon for a free pack of gum. You can have minty fresh breath and stop a hack filmmaker in his tracks. Everyone wins.

I think every public person (entertainer, politician, etc.) should make a similar offer. 1 million signatures is obviously somewhat hard to get but I’m sure people could band together to get rid of, say, Mark Penn.
